Direct to Film Printing (DTF) is a spectacular four-color digital process similar to a paper color copier which applies ink directly to a film which is then heat transferred on a garment without the use of screens. This significantly shortens the set up time. It also means that lower quantities, as small as a single item, can be more cost effective. As this is a full color process, mixing the ink colors directly on the garment as needed, more complex, multi-color designs including photo images can be executed with incredible resolution and detail.
